Midsummer Festival at HEX
On June 20th and 21st, the HEX Adventure World transforms into a gathering place for families, friends, and anyone looking to enjoy Swedish Midsummer flair, the traditional Hackespänchen festival, and the legendary world of the Harz mountains. Look forward to two days filled with music, regional specialties, a magical atmosphere, and the very first stair run at the Witch's Broom Tower.

Stair run at the Witch's Broom Tower
🏃 Saturday | Start: 6:00 PM
For the first time, as part of the Midsummer Festival, the Stair Run at the Witch's Broom Tower will take place.
- Teams of 3 people
- Maximum 11 teams
- €11 entry fee per team
- Bib pickup by 5:30 PM at the Magic Shop
- Register with your team name, as well as the names and dates of birth of all participants, at info@hex-erlebniswelt.de
If you aren't afraid of a workout and some elevation gain, you'll be rewarded with a fantastic view over the South Harz. Sign up quickly – spots are limited!
Tug-of-War
Pull, cheer, and get in on the excitement — six teams from the Harz region test their strength in the big tug-of-war.
Coffee & Cake
Feast, chat, and enjoy — coffee and cake at long Midsummer tables in the festival tent.
Flower crown making
Pick, weave, wear — create your own flower crown, the classic Swedish Midsummer accessory for all ages.
Face painting
Paint, transform, shine — our face painting station turns little guests into witches, trolls, and Midsummer spirits.
Food & Drink
Magical food and drinks — a culinary experience worthy of the celebration.
Stair run
Run up, slide down, cheer on — eleven teams of three will compete for the best time at the 1st Stair Run at the world's largest witch's broom.
